Ever since I was a little kid, I have had a lot of stories in my head that needed a channel. I was lost in the world of fantasy, watching cartoons and obsessing over them every chance I got. My mother still loves telling stories about me sleepwalking on TV to watch Moomin. I poured all my imagination into drawing and acting out stories with my toys as a kid because this was the only way I knew how to extract my imagination into reality. It wasn’t until about 4 years ago I started taking my art seriously and was introduced to this amazing world of animation and I haven’t been able to stop ever since.
Hi, My name is Bishwas and I am an aspiring artist from Nepal who wants to create and tell stories in the medium of animation. I used to work in the travel industry but after discovering my passion for the art of animation, I felt like animation was my destiny and decided to change careers after 5 successful years in the travel industry.
I started learning the craft in 2018 and have been working since 2019. I focus on making 2d character animation and visualizing scripts into storyboards. My passion for animation, my zeal to tell stories, my eagerness to strengthen my skills, and my experience in the world of animation would make me a great fit for your projects.
I was involved with Nepali storytellers where I worked on simplified animation to visualize various stories. During this job, I created animations with an average runtime of about 5-6 minutes weekly. I worked for Frawean Arts to create a limited-style animated storytelling channel called Frawean Katha. I worked on Frawean Katha for about 6 months. I wore many hats at Frawean Katha and my job included making storyboards, creating characters, creating backgrounds, animating the characters, and rarely editing the audio for the animated video. After Bush Bandits was discontinued, I decided to work as a freelancer. I worked with a few individuals and private companies on animation and design projects. After self-learning animation for about a year, I began working as a 2d character animator, character designer, and storyboard artist in Agmarketing to create a pilot for an Australian unaired TV show called Bush Bandits. Within a month, I was able to develop a short pilot of around one and a half minutes from character designs to final animation.
